Haibo received his Bachelor’s in Economics and Psychology at Harvard University and his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Haibo started his career as a research analyst at AQR Capital Management. There, he researched and developed investment strategies and trading algorithms in the futures and options space, with an emphasis on commodities, fixed income, equity indices, and currencies. After AQR, Haibo became the Director of Basketball Operations for the Shanghai Sharks, and Head of Analytics for the Chinese Men's National Basketball Team, where he focused on analytics and advance scouting for the 2010 FIBA World Championships, 2011 FIBA Asia Championships, and the 2012 Summer Olympics. While attending Booth, Haibo joined Dr. Funmi Olopade and Feyi Olopade to co-found CancerIQ. He is currently the VP of Product and Customer Success at CancerIQ and oversees the onboarding, implementation, and support of the CancerIQ application as well as product development.
